Finding myself on the East Coast

I spent 10 absolutely beautiful days on the East Coast last week.  It was a great escape since I was on furlough and banned from any work what so ever.  It allowed me to take a step back from all the hustle and bustle and actually look into myself and life in general.  I had the pleasure of being surrounded by beautiful spirits...friends old and new.  I spent 6 days with Rose and her beautiful family which was quite an enlightening experience.  There was an intense amount of love in her house with all of her family there.  The first two days we spent in Baltimore. Rose and I did a some shopping in Baltimore in the this cute neighborhood. Here is Rose and Mud and Metal...We went to a minor league baseball game the first night with her entire family then went back to Baltimore for the rest of the evening.  The following are pictures of Taj and Rose at the baseball game.

We went to The Abbey (her sister and new husbands' bar) which was fun.

This is Taj and I standing in the Abbey.  Her sister, Marigot, has such a fun-loving spirit.  It was good to spend some time with her and her house is absolutely wonderful and has a great energy flow.  On Sunday Terr-Dawg drove from New Jersey to spend the day with us.  We bummed around the inner harbor and ate lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe and made Terry go panty shopping with us :)  There was a submarine docked in the bay which was pretty awesome if I do say so myself.

After Terry left we went to a bar-b-que at Heather and James' house.  We chilled up on the rooftop grilling out and had a spectacular view.  (Pictures are posted above)  After dinner we drove down to La Plata to where Rose lives with her family.  Between Rose, D (her nephew), Tori and Sadie (her little sisters), the neighborhood kids, Taj, her parents, and Mark (her brother) there was a household full of love, family, and excitement.  We had craft time, went thrift store shopping, ate lots of Chipotle, played on the slip-n-slide, went to the park, spent time with her friend Ann who is a photographer, went shopping with Lisa-mommy, played baseball, and shared lots of energies.  Here are some pictures from 4 days in La Plata, MD.

It was a very spiritual time as well.  Though the week was crazy and hectic with every going on and all the family in town for Marigot's wedding/reception it was a very much needed week. Spending that much time with Rose was very good for my spirit and being.  She is a very unique and special person and I am very fortunate for having her in my life.  I really appreciate her sharing time with me even though so much was going on last week.  It meant alot to me.  The last night I was in town we went to a fundraiser for the River Conservation Group.  It was fun.  I got to share in a southern Maryland tradition....crab eating!!!!!

After the fundraiser, Colin and Poppe picked me up and we trecked down to Norfolk, VA.  The car ride was definately fun...good music and everade :)  Marlis flew in early Friday morning and the weekend got crazy fun.  The beach was beautiful and the water was perfect.  Lots of good conversations and easy-going fun people added to the beautiful scenary and weather.  On Saturday we went SKYDIVING!!!! I never felt like I was falling...there wasn't even an adrenaline rush.  I was one with the air, flying around and floating among the clouds.  A perfect feeling.  We jumped at dusk and the sunset was phenomenal.  Floating under the canopy defined serenity.  I would have no problem being a dive instructor for a living.  I am glad I did that.  Between that and watching the sunrise on the beach was the perfect ending to a week of love, life and beauty. Alot of beerbong, drinking, singing, guitar playing, dancing, and adventure time occured.  The only downfall was Colin ruptured his eardrum while skydiving so I took him to the hospital Saturday night, but followed it up with kicking some butt on the beerpong table.

I felt entirely free in many ways shapes and forms.  I got the chance to read, write, draw.  I got in touch with a side of me that gets supressed due to work and responsibilites.  I need to do a better job with balancing myself.  I think after this vacation I will be able to do so.  Thank you everyone for sharing time and energy with me.

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."

Today's sorrow, yesterdays morrow...a lights fight remembering sorrow
A spree, the flee of supressed emotion...a day a moment fill life lessons
August is modest, september remembered...a blessing that's messing with last years december.

the bridge of life from one to two
the lights between blink from me to you
there is no road in the open sea
but a wake of destruction from what is not yet to be
the path, the function of truth lies junction
the current run free through one's corruption
the rage and peace of welcoming arms
if there's truth in the water...what is the harm?

Sandy feet...beautiful water...a trampoline...carbon leaf...a silken coat of today's smoke...and a Yuengling make me free 8.7.09

"These existential realms differ not in terms of place or time but solely in their vibrational level.  The study of quantum physics has proven that all reality consists of energy patterns and that consciousness sustains these energy patterns.  Thus the world of form exists as dense concentrations of energy vibrating at frequencies we can experience through our physical senses.  On the other hand, we experience the World of Divine Truth as an inner knowing and sensations."

Throughout my times and moments of this life I have found myself encountering all types of sprits.  These collisions of racing energies are explosions of burning desires and brief moments of connection that last in love.  A connection between spirits is never lost or forgotten for our spirits have unbreakable bonds.  This ability of mind, body, and soul define living...define love...define life. 8.4.09
